Kremlin: Russia to continue deal if poorest states get grain

MOSCOW, Sep 30 (PRIME) -- Russia is ready to continue the grain deal if the poorest countries receive grain, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

"Concerning the grain deal, we have expressed our position many times. It is important that it continue so that, firstly, the poorest countries needing this grain had an opportunity to receive it during the process," Peskov said.

The July 22 grain deal opened safe corridors to export Ukrainian grain and promote Russian food and fertilizers exports.
